This is the first invitation to participate in the International Conference "Mathematical Modeling and Computational Physics, 2019" (MMCP2019) which will be organized by the Laboratory of Information Technologies of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Dubna, Horia Hulubei National Institute for R&D in Physics and Nuclear Engineering (IFIN-HH), Bucharest, Romania, Institute of Experimental Physics, Slovak Academy of Sciences, Kosice, Slovakia, the Technical University of Košice, Slovakia, and the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University, Košice, Slovakia. The MMCP2019 will be held in High Tatra Mountains from July 1 until July 5, 2019. The site of the conference is the Congress center Academia in Stará Lesná.
The Conference follows the rich traditions of the previous conferences on mathematical modeling, numerical methods and computational physics which started in Dubna, Russia in 1964, e.g., Computational Modeling and Computing in Physics 1996, Modern Trends in Computational Physics 1998, V-th International Congress on Mathematical Modeling 2002 (in Dubna), Mathematical Modeling and Computational Physics 2006 (in Slovakia), 2009 (in Dubna), 2011 (in Slovakia), 2013 (in Dubna), 2015 (in Slovakia), and 2017 (in Dubna). The conference MMCP2019 will be dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of the Technical University of Košice.
Plenary lectures (30 min.) are scheduled during the morning sessions. Parallel sessions with short talks (15 min.) and poster presentations will be held in the afternoons. Plenary lectures will be given by invitation or they will be selected from outstanding proposed contributions by the Local Organizing Committee on the recommendation of the International Program Committee.
The plenary lecture and invited talk speakers will be specified in the next bulletin.
The Conference will start on Monday, July 1, 2019 and it will end on Friday, July 5, 2019. Participants’ arrivals are expected on Sunday afternoon, June 30, and departures on Friday afternoon, July 5 or Saturday morning, July 6.
The working language of the Conference is the English.
The Proceedings will be published soon after the Conference in EPJ Web of Conferences (see, e.g., previous issues Vol. 173 - 2018 and Vol. 108 - 2016). The manuscripts accepted for publication will have to pass a rigorous refereeing procedure.
- mathematical methods and tools for modeling complex physical and technical systems, computational biochemistry and bioinformatics;
- methods, software and program packages for experimental data processing;
- methods of computer algebra, quantum computation and quantum information processing;
- machine learning and big data analytics;
- algorithms for parallel and hybrid calculations.
We kindly ask you to inform us about your interest to participate at the Conference MMCP’2019. Please pass the information along to those colleagues of you who could be interested in the Conference Mathematical Modeling and Computational Physics 2019.
Here you can obtain the poster of the conference. The Second Announcement will be mailed in February, 2019.
