This is the first invitation to participate in the International Conference "Mathematical Modeling and Computational Physics, 2022" (MMCP 2022) which will be organized by the Meshcheryakov Laboratory of Information Technologies and the Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Dubna, the Horia Hulubei National Institute for R&D in Physics and Nuclear Engineering (IFIN-HH), Bucharest, Romania, the Institute of Experimental Physics, Slovak Academy of Sciences, Košice, Slovakia, the Technical University of Košice, Slovakia, and the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University, Košice, Slovakia. MMCP 2022 will be held in the High Tatra Mountains from July 4 until July 8, 2022, at the Congress center Academia in Stará Lesná.

The Conference follows the rich traditions of the previous conferences on mathematical modeling, numerical methods and computational physics which started in Dubna, Russia in 1964, e.g., Computational Modeling and Computing in Physics 1996, Modern Trends in Computational Physics 1998, V-th International Congress on Mathematical Modeling 2002 (in Dubna), Mathematical Modeling and Computational Physics 2006 (in Slovakia), 2009 (in Dubna), 2011 (in Slovakia), 2013 (in Dubna), 2015 (in Slovakia), 2017 (in Dubna), and 2019 (in Slovakia). The conference MMCP 2022 will be dedicated to the 70-th Anniversary of the Technical University of Košice.
Plenary lectures (30 min.) are scheduled during the morning sessions. Parallel sessions with short talks (15 min. each) will be held in the afternoons. Plenary lectures will be given by invitation or they will be selected from outstanding proposed contributions by the Local Organizing Committee on the recommendation of the International Program Committee.
The plenary lecture and invited talk speakers will be specified in the Second Announcement.
The Conference will start on Monday, July 4, 2022 and it will end on Friday, July 8, 2022. Participants’ arrivals are expected on Sunday afternoon, July 3, and departures on Friday afternoon, or the next Saturday morning.
The working language of the Conference will be the English.
Highly successful Proceedings of previous MMCP Conferences have been published at Springer (Vol. LNCS 7125 - 2012) and in the EPJ Web of Conferences (Vol. 226 - 2020, Vol. 173 - 2018, and Vol. 108 - 2016). Details on the publication of MMCP 2022 Proceedings will be given in the Second Announcement.

- mathematical methods and tools for modeling complex physical systems;
- mathematical methods in life sciences;
- modern methods for data processing and analysis;
- machine learning and big data analytics;
- methods of quantum computing and quantum information processing;
- algorithms for parallel and hybrid calculations.
